The Dangerous Summer Release New Single, “Valium”

    By Dom VigilJanuary 23, 2018

Neck Deep have announced their North American headline tour this Fall, taking their new album All Distortions Are Intentional to major cities all over North America.

The Dangerous Summer have released “Valium,” the third single off their upcoming album The Dangerous Summer, out this Friday, January 26th via Hopeless Records. “Valium” is available now on iTunes, Apple Music, and Spotify. Listen to the song now below.

“‘Valium’ was written out in California during the first couple sessions with the guys,” vocalist and bassist AJ Perdomo says of the new single. “It is definitely the heaviest track on the record. We kept coming back to these themes on the record of dark to light, and I think this song lives off of that contrast.”

The Dangerous Summer’s upcoming self-titled album was produced by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, Paramore) and is now available for pre-order here: smarturl.it/TDSST. When pre-ordered digitally fans will receive an instant grat download of “Fire”, “Ghosts” and “Valium”.

“You really only get one chance to make a self-titled album in your career,” Perdomo says. “And we believe that the time has come to define our sound and our band. We spent six months writing and recording this record, and it is an expression of who we are as a band.”
