Secrets have released their new single, “3.17.16” ahead of their self-titled album, out February 23rd via Made in the Shade Records. Fans can listen to the song now below!
The emotional track is the third single from the band’s upcoming release. An incredibly personal recount of the night he lost his sister, vocalist Richard Rogers takes the listener through the life-changing evening and the trials he faced following. The result is a raw, honest account of a deeply personal tragedy, and the strength that comes with sharing one’s pain.
“I chose not to talk about it for a long time and to deal with it on my own, but I think that this story needs to be heard, and I want people to know that you can push through moments like this,” Richard said of the song. “There will be times in your life where it truly doesn’t seem worth it to keep going, but there’s always someone that loves you and can help you. Don’t be afraid to talk about your pain.”
