Austin, TX synth-pop duo The Lagoons have returned with their new single, “Close My Eyes (And I Wonder)” from their upcoming EP, Escape due out April 6th.
The duo is made up of brothers Joey and Ryan Selan, who grew up in LA playing various instruments in their middle school jazz band. It wasn’t until their move to Austin, TX, though that they formed The Lagoons. By blending genres such as synth-pop, soul, jazz, folk and electronica, Joey and Ryan have established a sound all their own, and that much can be heard on their newest single, “Close My Eyes (And I Wonder).”
