Fickle Friends have released the music video to accompany the release of their new single “Wake Me Up“. The video launches the first previously unreleased song from their highly-anticipated debut full-length You Are Someone Else, which is set for March 16th, 2018 release on Interscope Records. “Wake Me Up” will feature the band’s five previously-released bangers “Hello Hello,” “Hard To Be Myself,” “Swim,” “Glue” and “Brooklyn.” The full track list for You Are Someone Else can be found below.
The new album is laced together with upbeat indie bops of unapologetic honesty about toxic friendships, feelings of worthlessness, slippery relationships, mental health and a lot of other overwhelming emotions felt during young adulthood and young adult relationships. You Are Someone Else is also packed with hooks.
Tenacious and steadfast, it is the band’s stubborn perseverance that has helped to slingshot them forward. Building then riding their own wave of momentum, the band has played over +500 shows and hundreds of festivals, mostly from the Sam the drummer’s mom’s Ford Galaxy).
