Watch AViVA’s Music Video for “Drown”

    By Dom VigilMarch 22, 2018

It's the #1 trending show on Netflix, "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness," the bizarre cat breeding expo turned true crime drama that everyone's talking about. Last week, indie pop artist Alex Winston dropped a surprise cover of the infamous "Here Kitty, Kitty" song by the documentary's protagonist Joe Exotic, and today she unveils a folk-tinged edition of "I Saw A Tiger."

Back in January, AViVA started off the new year with her new single, “Drown” and now, she has released the accompanying music video. Self-directed with the help of Jefferton James, the video for “Drown” is a deep exploration into the concept of isolation and the “outsider” experience chronicled in the song.

To use AViVA’s own words, “The first line ‘do any of these words make sense?’ really sets the intention for the song. It’s an exploration of the isolation we experience as we go through the ‘steps of reason’ trying to rationalize life and all the choices we make”.

AViVA was recently added to Australia’s popular Groovin’ The Moo Festival on April 29th.
