Nedelle Torrisi has revealed, “Complicated,” a new single off her forthcoming album Only For You. “Complicated” exemplifies Nedelle’s penchant for writing songs with a modern R&B sensibility and she notes it “is like a 60s soul ballad about how we give more love to our phones than each other.”
Only For You will be released on May 18 via Frenchkiss Records and marks her first LP for the label. It is the follow up to 2015’s Advice From Paradise and was co-produced by Torrisi and Billy Uomo (Babes) who also played and programmed drums. Jeremy Gara of Arcade Fire lent his skills to Only For You, along with many other talented L.A.-based musicians. “Good Love” was produced by the band Inc., Kenny Gilmore (Ariel Pink) produced “Show Me Your Face” and “Vision of Love.” David Greenbaum (Beck) and Gilmore mixed the album.
Nedelle has booked a handful of shows in Los Angeles in support of Only For You and will be touring the US later this summer with dates to be announced soon.
