Megan Davies has unveiled the new music video for her inspiring new single, “Doesn’t Matter.”
Megan says, “‘Doesn’t Matter’ is a song about growing up and discovering your confidence. It’s a reminder that even the biggest of problems feel smaller with time. No matter how mature we get it seems we always have to relearn this lesson, but with life comes the gift of perspective and it gets a little easier each time. Personally, it’s what I wish I knew in high school and in a way is a letter to myself back then.”
Megan Davies is a YouTube influencer who got her start from her acoustic covers and mashups– collaborating with both her sister, Jaclyn, and other artist friends in Nashville. Her creative stylings have garnered her over 177 million views and 1.2 million subscribers. Her influencer status has offered up many amazing opportunities. From performing for Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Zendeya & the creators of The Greatest Showman and attending the films premiere in New York City to collaborations with the Red Cross & American Cancer Society.
While Megan enjoys producing covers and mashups, her passion lies in writing and performing her own original music. Her unique sound has been influenced by a combination of commercial pop, indie folk and experimental rock. She is currently in the studio finishing up her latest original project and you can expect to see several more releases from this project this Summer.
Last year, she released her debut original project, Bad Poetry EP. This completely independent project has amassed over 2.3 Million Spotify streams and the title track from the EP is now playing on Sirius XM’s, The Coffee House station.
