Turkuaz Release Music Video for New Single, “If I Ever Fall Asleep”

Brooklyn-based nine-piece Turkuaz have released their new single, “If I Ever Fall Asleep“, off their upcoming album Life In The City, out September 28th. To accompany the release, the band has also released video of the song being performed live from the studio of vocalist/guitarist Dave Brandwein’s Galaxy Smith Studios. Watch the video now below.

Avowed fans of The Talking Heads, they tapped Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads to produce the single. The band’s signature upbeat funk is a contrast to a role-play of the paranoid ramblings of an insomniac before embracing his own unraveling.

Life In The City is available now to pre-order HERE.

Turkuaz is currently on the road in support of the new album, travelling across the U.S. Epic performances will electrify Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on September 23rd and The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on October 19th before the band closes out 2018 with a bang on New Year’s Eve at The Palladium in Worcester, MA. Tickets are on sale now HERE.
