88rising – the pioneering music and arts collective who have the most groundbreaking artists from Asia bridging Eastern and Western youth culture – are in the midst of their first-ever group tour across North America this fall with label giants including Rich Brian, Joji, Keith Ape, Higher Brothers, KOHH, NIKI, AUGUST 08, and Don Krez. The 16-city tour kicked off September 28th in Philadelphia, PA and will make its stop through Denver at The Fillmore Auditorium on October 23rd before wrapping October 31st in San Francisco, CA.
Rich Brian, a core member of the pioneering music and arts collective 88rising (Joji, Higher Brothers, NIKI, AUGUST 08, and more) recently released the official music video for the song “History“. The track has been a fan favorite since its release off the collective’s debut LP Head In The Clouds, released earlier this summer. Rich Brian stars in this tale of love and loss, captivating his audience through a relatable journey set amongst a backdrop of neon hued lighting that depicts the highs and lows of romance gone wrong.
88rising also recently teamed up with AirAsia to film and release a series of official music videos shot throughout Asia for the collective’s debut album Head In The Clouds. The first release in the series is for the compilation album’s title track which was shot in Tokyo and follows a lithe dancer as she explores different parts of the city. The “All Of Our Heads In The Clouds” visual provides a guided view into the sprawling city life, as vignettes from the official “Head In The Clouds” music video starring Joji are transposed across billboards throughout the booming metropolis.
