Stray From The Path have been hard at work this year, kicking things off with US tour dates alongside Anti-Flag, European shows with Stick To Your Guns and exciting appearances at Download Festival and Reading & Leeds Festival among many others, and they’re not showing any signs of slowing down. The band is closing out their busy year with tour dates alongside Silent Planet, which wrap up at the end of November.
Silent Planet are back with a new record, When The End Began, due out November 2nd via Solid State Records, and will be celebrating the release at their show on the same date in Denver! Produced by Will Putney, When the End Began captures Silent Planet’s aggressive live sound while retaining their more exploratory ambient elements. The lyrical content deals with dark subject matter like addiction, war and death, but within the record there is an unmistakable element of hope. Frontman and lyricist Garrett Russell explains, “On tour, we’ve met people isolated by bigotry, marred by addiction, scarred by loss – these songs are for them and anyone else grappling with these situations.”
