In celebration of their North American winter excursion, Seaway recently released a new music video for their unreleased b-side track “Blur.” The surprise new b-side from their Vacation album session will be included on an upcoming compilation album that’s due out in 2019.
Of the upcoming tour dates, Seaway’s Andrew Eichinger said, “We’ve been really good friends with Trophy Eyes since the very early stages of our bands but haven’t been able to tour together since those early days. Both of us have had a very exciting couple years since then so we figured what better way to celebrate our friendship, success and hard work than to headline some shows together across the USA. Microwave, Can’t Swim and Hot Mulligan are all great bands and we’re thrilled that they’re joining us and Trophy Eyes to end this year with a bang.”
Recently, Trophy Eyes shared the breathtaking live visual for “Lavender Bay” off their recent full length, The American Dream, released earlier this year. Filmed at the bands’ Australian headlining dates, showcasing their biggest shows to date, “Lavender Bay” brings fans into the world of The American Dream.
Vocalist, John Floreani, described the significance of the song, “I used to walk through Lavender Bay, Sydney, picking the places I’m going to live from the harbour view mansions that towered over me.” Floreani continued, “Sydney is my home, and I wanted it to know who I was. This song is living proof that dreams do come true, and we caught it all on camera. What’s your Lavender Bay?”
