Danny Worsnop Releases New Single “Little Did I Know”

    By Dom VigilDecember 7, 2018

NYC-based folk pop duo Hannah & Maggie have come a long way since they first started out. Currently the duo are just about to release their cound-funded fourth album, Oh No, which centers around embracing change even through pain and fear - something they seem to know quite a bit about. With each album, Hannah & Maggie have been through a different journey, and this time around, it was about finding themselves and deciding what is important to them, both as individuals and as artists.

Danny Worsnop has released “Little Did I Know” his latest solo single and follow up to “Angels” released earlier this year. The track is available now on all streaming platforms and can be heard now below.

Combining Clapton-esque guitar licks, soulful melodies, bright bursts of organ and Worsnop’s phenomenal vocal, the track showcases an entirely different side to Worsnop’s songwriting compared to his output as frontman of hugely successful rock band, Asking Alexandria.

Speaking on his latest track, Danny says, “‘Little Did I Know’ was the song that set the tone for Shades Of Blue. It is such a fun and upbeat feeling song that under the surface is a very sad and moving story of loneliness.

I’ve been waiting a long time to get this out and am very excited and proud to finally share it with you all.

Jim Kaufman and I spent a lot of time figuring out how this song should feel and the direction he guided me in with this song really sculpted what the entire collection of music became.”
