A Day Without Love has released a new single “Going” in collaboration with rising singer/songwriter/producer Samryebread. The song tells a story about finding the self when experiencing doubt.
The duo will celebrate the release of the single, and preview new music that they’ve been working on with a special show at The Grape Room in Manayunk on February 8. For more information, visit the event page here.
A Day Without Love (Brian Walker) and Samryebread (Sam Rosen) come from the same city but have experienced two different paths in the music world. The former comes from a mix of basement and coffee shop shows in the DIY community, and has traveled the US via megabus as a touring artist. He’s released three albums, five EPs and numerous singles over his career, garnering attention from the likes of WXPN, WKDU (Drexel Radio), The Local Philly, Afropunk, Paste, Daytrotter and more. Sam has been working as a sound engineer at Milkboy Studios for the past four years collaborating with various artists including her solo project Samryebread and Lucky Rabbit. The two crossed paths in South Philadelphia when Sam worked as the sound technician for one of Brian’s shows. The two immediately began collaborating, with “Going” being the first of many new singles to come this year.
