Lemaitre have released the video for “Fast Lovers” today. Directed by Johannes Greve Muskat & Benjamin Loeb and filmed in Stockholm and Oslo, the video stars comedian TJ Miller.
“Fast Lovers” which unwinds at a dreamy, languid pace in sharp contrast to its name, is the title track to the Norwegian-born, Los Angeles-based electronic duo’s new EP out on March 1st via Astralwerks, The six-song set will feature two new tracks – “Smoke”and “Better Now” – plus the previously released “Big,” “Little Things” and “Rocket Girl” feat. Betty Who.
Ulrik Denizou Lund and Ketil Jansen formed Lemaitre in Oslo, Norway in 2010, takes its name from Georges Lemaître, the Belgian priest and astronomer known for introducing the Big Bang theory. Signed to Astralwerks in 2014, Lemaitre has released five dance-oriented EPs, a remix collection, two short form releases and the long-form compilation Chapter One. The latter included “Closer” feat. vocalist Jennie A. and “Higher” featuring Maty Noyes. Cumulative worldwide streams of Lemaitre’s music exceed 200 million.
