BETWEEN FRIENDS Release Debut Playlist, “we just need some time together” and Video for “blushing!”

Laptop dream pop project BETWEEN FRIENDS have released their debut playlist we just need some time together (via Better Sounds/Z Entertainment/Sony Music). Listen to the playlist HERE.

The DIY art-collective have also released “blushing!,” the final song rounding out the five-song playlist. The playlist’s closing track is about the end of summer, and the desire for human comfort entwined within the reality of everyday life coming back. It is about the cravings inside us when we need someone to stay by our side in the stale, humid air as the season ends.

As a whole, we just need some time together, which also features low-key bangers “better friends” and “iloveyou,“captures what Earmilk describes as “synth-heavy temporary love anthems for twenty-somethings looking to live a little.” Gathering the carefree spirit of Los Angeles and madness of young adult life in the suburbs of the valley, the playlist also includes “u can still come over” which captures BETWEEN FRIENDS’ talent for creating textures in their music through watery synth sounds and dry percussion along with “affection,” spotlighting how siblings Savannah and Brandon Hudson compliment each other musically, with Brandon trading his brooding, indie-cool verses with Savannah’s hauntingly beautiful vocal swells.

Brandon and Savannah formerly led the critically acclaimed five-piece The Heirs, which generated millions of streams, spurred multiple tours, and critical praise from the media. Now at the helm of their new endeavor that is both intimate and inclusive, they invite everyone to join and share in their creation – it can be just between friends.
