Canadian Singer/Songwriter Jeremie Albino has released his electrifying new single “Last Night”. Watch the official music video now below!
The track, which follows Jeremie’s debut single “Shipwreck,” – is a dancehall love story set against a backdrop of classic rock n’ roll and blues energy that sweeps you away with every listen.
“I’ve always loved dancing and going out to the dance hall,” Jeremie explains, “I’ve also always had that romantic notion seeing the girl of your dreams walk through the door of an old legion or dance hall. Building up the courage to ask her to dance. Kind of a sucker for classic romance scenes like that.” Likewise, the cinematic video for “Last Night” tells the story of that same romantic magic of locking eyes from across the room and instantly falling in love.
Born and raised in the bright and booming metropolis of Toronto, Jeremie Albino’s heart led him out of the city and into Prince Edward County, where country living and a decade of working on farms gave him the time and space to hone his songwriting skills. His music nods to all manner of troubadours who rambled down similar paths throughout history-he nods slyly to the legendary blues singers who inspired him, offers a soft and insightful touch with his folk songs, and stomps and swaggers through soulful rock ‘n’ roll.
