Saint Sister Announces North American Tour with Henry Jamison

    By Dom VigilApril 10, 2019

Miami Horror’s groovy, 80’s influenced new EP, The Shapes is the definition of colorful. Swapping the dreamy synth and ambient soundscapes of 2015’s All Possible Futures for a more upbeat, bass heavy sound, Miami Horror have made an obvious sonic shift on this record, but one that likely won’t alienate listeners.

Saint Sister will be kicking off a North American Tour on April 30th, supporting Henry Jamison in 20 cities along the way. The Irish duo will showcase their signature sound, brimming with an airy and melodious blend of electro-folk. See below for a full list of tour dates, and for further information, please visit: http://www.saintsisterband.com/.

Since forming Saint Sister in 2014, Morgan Macintyre (Vocals, Keyboard) and Gemma Doherty (Harp, Vocals, Keyboard) have quickly established themselves as one of the most talked about bands in Ireland. 2015’s Madrid, recorded with Alex Ryan (bassist with Hozier), was a breakout success, earning playlist recognition on BBC Radio 1, RTE and across European radio.

At home, they were voted “Best Irish Act” by the readers of The Irish Times, and nominated for the Choice Music Prize “Song of the Year” in 2016. Their debut album Shape of Silence was released last October to rave reviews, which garnered another nomination for the 2018 Choice Music Prize, both for “Song of the Year” and “Album of the Year”. Festival highlights at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and Latitude, along with support slots with The National, Lisa Hannigan and Hozierhave solidified their reputation as an enchanting live band.
