FRENSHIP Release New Single “Keep You Close”

    By Dom VigilApril 24, 2019

Australian breakout singer-songwriter Didirri takes the saying “quality over quantity” to heart on his stunning new EP, Measurements. While the EP is only six songs in length, it is filled to the brim with powerful, emotional and cinematic songwriting.

Platinum-selling duo FRENSHIP – James Sunderland and Brett Hite – have released the third single off their upcoming album Vacation, entitled “Keep You Close.” The song is about the desire to hold onto those people we have a connection with, even if it may not be the best thing. Listen to it now below!

FRENSHIP will release their debut full-length album Vacation on May 17 via Counter Records, and have also announced their Vacation Tour, coinciding with the album release. The 18-date U.S. headline tour kicks off May 18 in San Francisco, CA, bringing FRENSHIP to major cities from coast to coast before wrapping on June 15 in San Diego, CA. Pre-order the album and tickets for the tour at www.wearefrenship.com.

Vacation, which includes buoyant, bright track “Won’t Let You Go” featuring Bastille, follows a series of buzzed-about singles that racked up more than 799+ million streams, including the 2016 global hit “Capsize” with Emily Warren. Full of warm harmonies, propulsive melodies, spiraling synths and pristine songwriting, Vacation is an album about searching. It examines the nuances of relationships and the idea of happiness and home – the duo’s hot-cold relationship with Los Angeles serving as one of the inspirations for the new songs.

FRENSHIP, whose brilliant production chops and diverse inspirations color their wide-angle indie-pop songs, garnered multiple gold and platinum certifications around the world for “Capsize,” and were picked as Spotify’s #2 Breakout Artist in 2016 and one of Shazam’s 2017 Emerging Artists. A festival favorite, they joined Bastille on their world tour before selling out their 2018 U.S. headline shows. Now, the duo returns poised to take their music to a whole new level.
