United Kingdom-based singer-songwriter Adam French has shared the music video for his latest single “Slow Dancing”. The stunning and emotional visual accompaniment shows French observing a wax figure of himself before setting it aflame and watching it melt away, serving as a cathartic release of sorts and a powerful symbol of a clean slate.
“Slow Dancing” showcases the thoughtful lyricism that French has made his calling card and was co-written with Jonathan Quarmby (Tom Walker, Lewis Capaldi). The track serves as a stunning insight into the next chapter from the Congleton-born artist who creates all his own artwork, including photographing and designing the cover to this single himself.
Speaking on the video Adam stated:
“The video is a visual representation of second chances, via self-sabotage getting in the way of your own happiness for a bit. – I’m sure it’s something a lot of people can relate to. Molding my face for the candle was particularly unpleasant but worth all 80 minutes of submersion with our incredible sculptors.”
