Gov’t Mule have released the video to the title track “Bring On The Music” ahead of tomorrow’s release of their new live film and album Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre (Provogue / Mascot Label Group), directed by renowned music photographer and director Danny Clinch (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Phish). The video evolves from an intimate acoustic jam to an electrifying stage performance showcasing Gov’t Mule in all their rock glory.
“‘Bring On The Music’ is a song about loss and inevitable change, and also about the relationship between the band and our audience which we feel extremely lucky to have,” shares Gov’t Mule frontman and GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, producer, and revered guitarist Warren Haynes.
Tomorrow July 19th brings the release of Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre – available as a 2-CD/2-DVD deluxe package (featuring exclusive audio not in the film) and on Blu-ray. Pre-order now here. A 2 CD-set, 2 separate double-vinyl packages, and digital (featuring audio from the film) are available now here.
Gov’t Mule are currently on the road with their Summer of ’19 Tour and are about to embark on a 4-date run of shows with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Gov’t Mule will also return to headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on August 18th, a new-found summer tradition following last year’s incredible super-sized show. Ryan Bingham will support. Please visit www.mule.net for all ticketing details.
Amidst the Gov’t Mule tour, Warren Haynes will be performing select shows in July, including an appearance at Newport Folk Festival on July 26th and a special duo set with Grace Potter at Peach Music Festival on July 28th, where he will also join Phil Lesh and Friends’ headlining set.
