The New Regime, fronted by Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nails, Angels & Airwaves), is releasing the new music video for “Turning a Blind Eye” today. Check out the performance video, directed by John David Moffat, now below. “Turning a Blind Eye” was filmed while The New Regime was on their North American tour with Angels & Airwaves this past September and early October.
“The video for ‘Turning a Blind Eye’ was shot during a sound check on the last tour in which we supported Angels & Airwaves. I wanted to capture some of the on stage energy and show what The New Regime was up to in September/October of 2019,” states Rubin.
“Turning a Blind Eye” is the second music video released off The New Regime’s most recent EP Heart, following “A Way To Feel Again“. Watch the music video for “A Way To Feel Again”, also directed by John David Moffat, HERE.
The New Regime is gearing up to release, Mind, on November 22nd, which is the second installment of the band’s 4-part release of the full-length album Heart Mind Body & Soul out early 2020. Fans can pre-save Mind HERE.
Rubin, whose young age defies the amount of work he’s already tackled, was recently called “Nine Inch Nails’ secret weapon” (Metal Injection) and “one of rock’s most in-demand drummers” (Louder). Today, however, it can be argued that the multi-instrumentalist’s best work happens when this one-man-band is fronting-and backing-The New Regime. The band’s previous releases have been featured by massive press outlets such as Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, NME, Alternative Press, and Modern Drummer and have seen them share the stage with Muse, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails, The Used, Juliette Lewis, Alice In Chains, and more. With new music slotted to come out soon, Rubin is looking forward to continuing to reinvent the wheel and becoming a master of his own regime.
