California pop-punk band, Yearbooks will be releasing their first album on Lost Music Collective, Stepping Stones, this Friday, November 1st. Ahead of the album release, the band has shared their latest single and title track, “Stepping Stones.” Listen to the song now below.
Of the track, the band said, “The song is about dealing with mental illness and letting it destroy a relationship with someone you care about. No matter how much somebody can love you, the burden that comes with anxiety, depression and self doubt can be too much sometimes. If you don’t love yourself, it makes it hard for somebody else to.”
Yearbooks formed in late 2014, after several lineup changes the five piece pop punk band consisting of Kevin Lietz (vocals) Brett Lietz And Jobany Ruiz on guitars, Miguel Guzman on bass, and Carlos Esparza on drums. Coming out of the Central Coast of California, they’ve spent the last year playing the Southern California circuit. Their first record “Hanging by A Thread” is a collection of song detailing the band last formative years dealing with heart breaks and hardships. Early 2018 , a full length record titled “Peer Pressure” was released and it is available right now on all music streaming platforms.
