Tapping into her love of horror films and survival video games, artist / DJ / gamer CRAY has offered up a perfectly creepy visual this Halloween for her single “eat your heart out”, off her new seasons change and so do i EP. The video is dark and hypnotic, with quick cuts of a possessed CRAY lurking around a nightmarish house as blood drips from her lips and her demonic eye burning red as she beckons viewers with her twisted claw of a hand. The video was directed by CRAY and Jori Teplitzky, with Jori also providing the haunting VFX.
When asked about her ghoulish visual, CRAY excitedly shared, “Horror is my favorite genre ever so when I wrote this song I knew I needed to make a scary visual for it. I really wanted to showcase the creepiness of the lyrics so we found a perfect haunted abandon house to shoot at. I had this idea where I was possessed but still myself at heart so we created a claw hand but just for one hand. Like I was being taken over slowly.”
