If you’ve driven past the Colfax exit on I-25 any time within the last six months, then you’ve watched as Denver’s own Meow Wolf has slowly risen well past eye-level alongside the main stretch of road, but thankfully, if you’re anxious for its opening, you won’t have to wait too long for a little bit of Meow Wolf weirdness to hit Denver. To close out November, Meow Wolf is hosting a three-day “dance obscura” event, dubbed Dark Palace at the National Western Complex, and it promises to be a weekend you won’t forget.
With electronic headliners such as Claude VonStroke, MK, and Guy Gerber alongside a handful of local DJs and artists, Dark Palace will not only make you even more excited for Denver’s own Meow Wolf, but it also celebrates some of our own local musicians. Set to take place November 22nd through the 25th, the event will also feature installations from local artists.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the same sense of community we experienced at Taos Vortex
to Denver,” said Vince Kadlubek, CEO of Meow Wolf. “We’re excited to share this Meow Wolf
event and hope people will join us for the ride as we expand and create our permanent location
in the city.”
Tickets range from $29.95 to $49.95 for single day, or $84.95 for the full weekend, and can be purchased HERE. $2 from every ticket sold for Dark Palace will be donated to local Denver organizations. Meow Wolf’s Denver Community Action Committee (CAC) has chosen RMIAN and Birdseed Collective.
