On the heels of their acclaimed debut release, American Griots – The Album, award-winning, Nashville-based recording artists and producers, Louis York have been confirmed for iHeartRadio’s coveted “On The Verge” program, which begins today, November 18th through Sunday, December 22nd. Under the promotion, the duo’s latest single “How Will I Feel” is playing on over 25 Urban AC iHeart Radio stations in major US markets including, Chicago, Detroit, Boston and Philadelphia.

The album’s current single “How Will I Feel,” showcases the duo’s sharp songwriting craft, while the thought provoking “I Wonder,” features Nashville poet Caroline Randall Williams, and tackles a wider message about the world at large, evoking a conversation on what activist predecessors would have thought about culture in 2019. Another album highlight includes the country-inspired track “Teach Me a Song,” which features acclaimed country singer, songwriter Jimmie Allen.
Next up, the group will put on its annual Christmas Time with Louis York & The Shindellas on Saturday, December 7th at the Franklin Theater in Franklin, TN. Additional east and west coast dates to be announced soon.
