Denver blues/indie-rock four piece, Dream Feed have released their new track, “Beyond What We See” today. The unique track, which blends blues-influenced guitars, MUSE-esque vocal harmonies and a catchy as hell chorus, can be heard now below.
Of the new song, the band’s vocalist, Miguel Dakota said, “A large portion of life is a balance between pursuing dreams/careers and maintaining relationships. There are times during the pursuit that stretch us and test our dedication and responsibility to our friends and family. It’s at those points when it’s important to maintain faith, knowing that the fruition of our dreams is just beyond what we see.
We spent a lot of time in the studio on this song, focusing on placing sonic elements and creating dynamics that take the listener on a 3 and a half minute journey that embodies the hurdles we’ve overcome to be where we are.”

Dream Feed is a four-piece indie rock band from Denver, Colorado. The band formed shortly after the lead vocalist, Miguel Dakota, was a finalist on Season 9 of America’s Got Talent in 2014. Miguel’s soulful and passionate voice caught the attention of many, including Simon Cowell, who tweeted, “Miguel Dakota. A future star…” after his first performance.
Since then, Dream Feed has taken shape with Miguel providing lead vocals and guitar, Ryan Wagner on lead guitar and vocals, bassist Will Gaines, and drummer Brian Nolan. Their eclectic style combines alternative rock, blues and funk for an infectious musical cocktail. Hints of indie pop are layered with meaningful and powerful lyrics which provide a juxtaposition of a band that is paving the way with new sounds, while drawing from old wisdom.
While focusing on perfecting their sound in Denver and playing shows in and around Colorado, the band has been drawing more and more attention – being named one of the top local bands to watch out for in 2019 by 303 Magazine. Most recently, the band won the KTCL Demo Derby, which awarded them a radio interview with DJ Nerf and the debut of their track “Push and Pull” on Channel 93.3. In 2018, they won the Road to Velorama grand prize based on their energetic and engaging live performance, and were invited to play the Velorama Festival along with Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie, Tennis and others.
