Denver post-rock band, Redivider are gearing up to kick off the new year with the release of their new album, Depth Over Distance on January 4th. In anticipation for the upcoming release, the band has dropped their latest single, “Delphiction” today!
The emotionally vulnerable new track is a perfect taste-test of Redivider’s new album, complete with powerful lyrics, strong guitar work and unpredictable songwriting that constantly changes within the blink of eye. Although it is only four minutes in length, “Delphiction” will keep you on your toes from start to finish and leave you wanting more.
Of the song, the band said, “Delphiction is the first song on this upcoming release, it’s about the process of getting out from under the weight of an abusive person, and the guilt that comes along with the idea of exposing them. There’s an unfortunate certainty of collateral damage to loved ones in these situations. This is a reoccurring theme throughout the album – learning about self worth in the context of co-dependency and the historical pattern people have of using other humans as a narcotic.“
Redivider will be playing an album release show on January 4th at Larimer Lounge alongside fellow local artists, Coastal Wives, Corsicana, and False Report. More information can be found here and tickets can be purchased now HERE.
