Fractures has announced his forthcoming EP, EP III, along with the release of a brand new track “Addiction” out on FADER Label and available worldwide today.
On “Addiction” the Melbourne-based singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Fractures displays his stunning vocals alongside a symphony of electronic tones that give way to a captivating, richly-textured hook. In the chorus Mark Zito of Fractures warns, “never get addicted to something, so strong, never let in to discover it’s gone” singing about the harsh consequences of falling in love.
The upcoming release EP III is a beautiful collection of tracks that showcase Fracture’s ability to seduce with layers of alternating sounds juxtaposed with alluring, ethereal vocals. Including “Chains”, a collaboration with Philadelphia pop singer songwriter ROZES released in November, EP III takes steps into a more pop-driven sound for the artist. “Pop music influences a lot of my decisions no matter what music I write,” says Zito. “It feels like a new direction for me but ultimately it’s something I’ve always had up my sleeve.”
EP III is due out February 27, on FADER Label.
