Benjamin Ingrosso, the 22-year-old artist and songwriter has released his self-written single ‘The Dirt’. After his highly acclaimed #1 debut album ’Identification’, several nominations in P3 Guld and the Swedish Grammy Awards as well as winning a Rockbjörnen award for ’Male Live Artist of the Year’ both in 2018 and 2019, Benjamin Ingrosso is one of the most exciting names in the Swedish Music Export today.
With most previous singles “Happy Thoughts” together with Felix Sandman as well as latest single “Costa Rica” Benjamin is yet again proving his musical diversity. During the fall of 2019 he announced his headline Scandinavian tour where the shows in Norway sold out in minutes. In November, Benjamin played at Berns in Stockholm as a part of his tour in front of a sold-out crowd of over 1200 people.
Now Benjamin is releasing his new single ‘The Dirt’. With a storytelling point of view and a melody that sticks, ‘The Dirt’ was written by Benjamin together with Hampus Lindvall (Zara Larsson), Markus Sepehrmanesh (Erik Hassle), Valentin Brunel (KUNGS) and Didrik Franzén.
Benjamins own words about the song:“This is the first song I am releasing where I get to tell a story, that’s not about me at all. But I love it and hope everyone will get in the mood to dance!”
With over 225 million + streams, 2,7 million listeners per month on Spotify, 5x Platinum and 9x Gold and a Swedish Grammy Nomination for ‘Pop of The Year’ 2020 – this is only the beginning for Benjamin Ingrosso.
