Austin chanteuse Molly Burch – whose voice has been called “unforgettable” by GQ, “one of rock’s best” by the FADER, and “vibrant and warm” by Pitchfork – has released her sultry cover of Ariana Grande’s “needy” off her 2019 GRAMMY nominated album thank u, next. In true Molly Burch form, she transforms this pop track into a jazzy, smoky ballad rich with vocal range.

Molly Burch said of “needy”, “Anyone who follows me or my music knows that I stan Ariana Grande. On my last tour, I thought it would be fun to cover one of her songs and it ended up being a favorite part of the set for me. It was very freeing for me to dip my toes into a style I’ve always wanted to sing, and I think it was a fun treat for my audience too. I got some requests from sweet people asking me to record the song – so this is dedicated to them.”

You can hear the “needy” cover, her wildly successful 2018 album, First Flower, and more on her national tour with Tennis. Several of the shows are already SOLD OUT including first show in LA, second show added due to demand, and San Francisco.
