Today, one of Australia’s most celebrated new acts and beloved indie-funk lords, Ocean Alley, revealed the reflective new video for their latest single “Tombstone”, fresh off the back of their latest tour on Australia’s renowned Laneway Festival and a stint in New Zealand for Bay Dreams Festival, to launch into the new decade. Shot on Super 8 film by long-time collaborators The Sauce, the “Tombstone” video chronicles standout moments from the 12-month journey of Ocean Alley’s breakthrough year. The track is available to stream here and the new video is available to watch now below.
Speaking on the new video the band said, “The last 12 months on the road around the world has been incredible. We thought a four-minute wrap of our time seeing new and familiar places and faces was the perfect accompaniment for Tombstone”.
Rounding out 2019 with 30 sold out performances around the world after playing their biggest international shows to date, the band gave a career-defining performance at Australian mainstay festival Splendour In The Grass, as well as an electric set at Reading & Leeds Festival on top of a sold-out US headlining tour. Ocean Alley has also been announced for the 2020 installment of Electric Forest Festival taking place June 25th-28th in Michigan.
