HAUNTER Release Video for New Single, “Love You Better”

Houston based rising star pop act HAUNTER have released their new single, “Love You Better,” which showcases the groups musicality and commitment to writing catchy, accessible tunes that don’t lose their authenticity despite a broad appeal. Alongside the track is the accompanying music video, which can be seen now below.

HAUNTER traces their roots back to 2016. Originally a studio project helmed by Enoma Asowata (guitar, synth), the band quickly evolved into a 4 piece featuring tour de-force vocalist Lucy Lenoire, bassist Mark Schroeder and multi instrumentalist Mike Ray. Under the tutelage of Grammy-nominated producer & musician Tyler Smyth (I Prevail, member of Dangerkids), the band honed in on a radio friendly sound that meshes their individual influences (emo, metal, Warped Tour..you get the vibe) with a pop sensibility and style that will be familiar to fans of groups like Imagine Dragons, Chvrches, Ellie Goulding and The Chainsmokers.

“We wanted to just go in as a blank slate and create in the moment. No script, no roadmap, no rules. Just pure inspiration.” – Enoma Asowata (guitar, synth) on the groups writing process.

HAUNTER has no plans to slow down now that their debut song has started to create waves, but don’t expect anything other than a well thought out and smartly executed live performance schedule.

“Making sure that each show feels like an event goes a long way.” Mike Ray explains.“Every band takes a long break between tours to redesign the set, the lighting, etc..which makes each show into a unique experience, and we think taking the time to craft something like that is a lot more valuable than just playing every month and hoping people show up.”
