Rising genre-bursting multi-hyphenate artist Lonr. has uncovered his new single “Make The Most” featuring H.E.R.  Get it HERE via Epic Records.

The California-born and Cape Cod, MA-raised GRAMMY® Award-winning singer, rapper, songwriter and producer teamed up with The FADER to exclusively premiere the official music video earlier this morning. Watch the video now below.

In between a tight groove and fluttering guitar, he delivers vulnerable verses before carrying an eternal pledge on the hook, “I wanna grow old with you, make the most with you, that’s the goal.” H.E.R. offers a sweetly soulful counterpoint punctuated by delicate emotion. Meanwhile, the visual depicts tender scenes of romance between Lonr. and a female companion.  However, after of moments of bliss, the story takes a very intense and topical turn…

He tells The FADER that “the idea behind ‘Make The Most’ was simply that we only have one life to live, so with whatever or whoever it is that you love, make sure you make it known…make sure you chase it, because tomorrow isn’t promised.”

Lonr. introduced himself at the end of 2019 with his first-ever single, “A.M.” Inspiring the “A.M.” Challenge, the single ignited a flurry of activity on Tik Tok, with over 2 million user-generated videos in a short time span. This phenomenon translated to Spotify where the song soared to the Top 5 of the US Viral Chart and top 10 of the Global Viral Chart, alongside looks on the Most Necessary and Pop Rising playlists. Together with follow-up track “Safe Zone,” Lonr.’s music has since tallied over 32 million total streams and counting. Garnering critical praise early on, XXL called him “multifaceted” while Elevator Magazinecalled him a “star in the making.” HotNewHipHop mirrored those sentiments, calling him a “rising star” and exclaiming that “Safe Zone” “builds on the momentum [of ‘A.M.’].”  Rap-Up may have put it best: “Now music’s secret weapon is stepping into his own.”

He recently concluded a sold-out tour supporting YBN Cordae, entrancing crowds across North America. VEVO also selected him for its coveted DSCVR program. As part of the initiative, he turned up with cathartic live performances of “A.M.” and “Safe Zone” accompanied by a lone guitarist.

Now, he reveals his debut EP, Land of Nothing Real, set for release on April 24, 2020.
