In anticipation of Bonelang‘s new album SAINTMAKER out this week, the genre-bending Chicago duo has released their new music video for “Fox And The Hound”. The group has always had a propensity for stunning visuals and “Fox And The Hound” only adds to that claim, finding the tight-knit sonic duality of Samy.Language and Matt Bones being merged into a painting come to life, full of dark and lavish imagery. Also featuring the singer Carlile, the video quickly turns to absurdity in a mansion worthy of Bonelang’s intriguing sound. “Fox And The Hound” serves as the band’s third single from their upcoming sophomore album, SAINTMAKER, which is due out April 24th on AntiFragile Music. It shows another element of the band’s range that simultaneously complements and contrasts the first two singles from the album – the guitar-driven “American Playboy” and more outwardly experimental track, “Like A Bird In A Jet Engine”.
Hellbent on defying expectations, Bonelang pushed themselves relentlessly to provide a deeper level of introspection on SAINTMAKER, while leaning into their dark hip-hop and pop tendencies. The record is built on thought-provoking production and self-reflective lyrics, creating a collection of tracks that will undoubtedly establish Bonelang as one of today’s most talented and progressive songwriting teams. Bonelang has also announced their headlining, hometown show at Concord Music Hall in Chicago on July 25th. Tickets are available for that here.
