Los Angeles based producer and creator boyband has released the charity single “get home safely” today. All proceeds raised by boyband and Dirty Hit from the release of “get home safely” will be donated to NAACP Legal Defense Fund and RAINN.
“At this moment, a lot of long term issues within our country are being exposed on a wide-spread scale- this song is just a manifestation of the anger many of us feel on these things. I wanted to bring together two issues that hit me the most through a common thread. So many black people in this country have the fear of losing their lives in broad daylight because of police brutality and profiling. So many women in the world are fearful of being taken advantage of by men. I just want to live in a world where that paranoia is no more.
The change starts within the countless organizations that exist to set things in place to help communities and survivors of the way our world is set up. As one person- I can only be the change I’d like to see in the world. Helping these organizations can make the changes tangible and change lives.” – boyband
