“We’ve all been isolated and feeling strange in these most unusual times but we’ll all get by with a little help from our friends,” says DREAMERS vocalist Nick Wold, who recently enlisted Robert Delong, Joywave’s Daniel Armbruster, UPSAHL and Bikini Trill’s Tony Stern for a special isolation version of new single “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson. Watch the video now below.
“Staying home doesn’t mean we can’t bring people together to make music,” says Wold. “We reached out to a bunch of friends and amazing artists and everyone was excited about adding their own voice to this song. No egos, just incredible musicians being generous with their time to make something special.”
This quarantine rendition of the song follows the band’s original live-action clip (seen HERE) and the recently-released animated version of “Heat Seeker” ft. grandson (watch HERE) which follows lead singer Nick Wold and grandson as they search for truth and meaning while navigating a cosmic gauntlet filled with false idols, relentless consumerism and shady politicians.
Dreamers recently teamed with AdventureQuest Worlds for a virtual concert event. As gamers battle through a massive multiplayer story of new dimensions and states of consciousness, they can experience an in-game concert by DREAMERS. Players will explore a vast array of otherworldly landscapes while listening to DREAMERS perform their hit songs “Heat Seeker, “DIZZY,” “It’s Something to be Alive,” and “Desensitize.” The concert adventure began June 12th, 2020 and will continue through early July.
The Dreamers / grandson collab follows their first team-up, on grandson’s “Whole Lotta,” which is part of the XXwhy campaign designed to raise awareness for voter registration. (Stream HERE)
“Heat Seeker” comes off the success of “Die Happy,” which was a top ten hit at Alternative radio.
