Operating out of Los Angeles, manolo. has been taking the underground scene by storm via a slew quality house cuts that always pack an infectious groove. His IN / ROTATION label debut arrived last year by way of a potently rhythmic three-track offering titled ‘Unidos,’ alongside seasoned veteran BOT. He’s now stepping up with two new originals in the form of his ‘Never Never’ EP. The title cut is an emotional ride through a stirring female vocal that drifts seamlessly atop lofty chords, a bed of shuffling drums, and a throbbing lead. On the flip, “Show Me” takes on a more tech-driven shape with a darker vibe to round out the release. The two-track offering has already garnered early support from Dash Berlin, Kryder, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, and more.
Since the project first pushed off the blocks in 2019, manolo. has been making his presence felt through a slew of grooves that have spanned house, tech house, deep house and beyond. His ever-growing discography has seen him grace a number of exciting imprints, including Main Course, Understated and Box of Cats. With his ‘Never Never’ EP, manolo. is building a stronger case as to why you should be paying attention.
