Originally found on Naïka’s acclaimed debut EP, LOST IN PARADÏSE, PT. 1, “Head in the Clouds Ft. TeaMarrr (Remix)” sees the Miami-born, Los Angeles-based songstress teaming with her fellow Haitian American artist for a truly extraordinary, intensely intimate new track.
“‘Head in the Clouds’ is about finding love for yourself,” says Naïka. “I think the journey to self love is one of the most important ones. You can’t realistically give parts of yourself to anybody until you’ve learned to love and respect yourself first.”
“I’ve been a huge fan of TeaMarrr,” she adds, “her music and artistry. We’re also both Haitian and I’ve always wanted to collab with her. There was no one else in my mind to do the remix for this record, I knew she would kill it and that her energy would be a perfect match.”
