The Oriental Theater is asking fans to help them raise money and donations will be rewarded with very special merchandise including an engraved plaque in the legendary theater’s lobby, t-shirts, pint glasses for discounted drinks at The Oriental, sponsoring the bars and balcony, and more.
COVID-19 has forced The Oriental Theater, and music venues across the country, to be closed since mid-March. While The Oriental Theater was able to reopen their doors on August 1st for very small and socially distanced shows, they are still only able to operate at 10% capacity.
Their Safe Sound Series has helped to bring back live music and entertainment to the Denver community, but operating at only 10% of capacity is making it impossible to cover their monthly expenses through the winter season. Therefore, the landmark Denver theater is calling on fans for their help and for donations to survive the tough months ahead with The Friends of The O campaign.
Fans will help keep indie music alive by donating different amounts to the Theater through their website: http://bit.ly/FriendOfTheO. For each donation, fans will be rewarded with tiered prizes ranging from $10 to $5,000. Highlighted prizes include: a complete outfit set with sticker, pin, t-shirt, and hat for $80, a complete private party at the theater with a bar tab for $2,500, and sponsoring the lobby bar for $5,000.
