Mae Muller Announces New Album and Shares New Single

    By Dom VigilOctober 14, 2020
Mae Muller no one else not even you

North London singer-songwriter Mae Muller will release her debut EP – no one else, not even you – on November 6th via Capitol Records.

Today, Mae shares “HFBD,” which she co-wrote with DallasK (Celine Dion, Fifth Harmony) and Ivy Adara (Cheat Codes, Maggie Lindemann). The song, which is the second release from no one else, not even you, is the perfect representation of Mae’s honest and tongue-in-cheek song writing, telling the tale of having to dump an ex on his birthday.

Mae has teamed up with a plethora of songwriters and producers to bring her ideas to life for this new collection of songs. The EP encapsulates Mae’s energetic and honest persona, something that has drawn her fans close to her over the past few years, with her frank and relatable lyrics that empower her fans intertwined with contagious pop melodies and production. Fans can pre-order the EP HERE.

Speaking about the new EP, Mae Muller explains “I’ve been working on this EP over the past 2 years and these songs are some of my favourites I’ve ever written. This body of work is the most honest representation of who I am as a person and an artist. I allowed myself to explore different genres and the songs are so personal. I do find that a bit scary, but I can’t wait for people to hear them. I think they’ll be able to relate and that’s all I want when people listen to my music.”

“HFBD,” follows Mae’s new single “so annoying” which she wrote with Rick Nowels (Madonna, Lana Del Rey) and Skyler Stonestreet (Ariana Grande, Chainsmokers). With singles featuring on Spotify’s New Music Friday, Apple Music’s A-List Pop, In My Room & Future Hits and more, Mae’s tracks have already amassed over 100 million streams globally. She’s stormed her way through the live world with a sold out 2020 headline tour of the U.K. and a dedicated social following. Hailed as “a clear pop sensation in the making” by Wonderland and the “new queen” by NYLON, Mae’s music pairs self-assured lyrics with strong narratives and entwined soulful pop melodies – a style that is quickly cementing the young London-based artist as a spokeswoman of her generation.

“I know what I want to say, and I know what the message is that I want to get across… If people ask me what my sound is or what my genre is, I still don’t really have an answer…I want women and young girls going through hard shit to put on my songs and feel better. We’re going through this together”
