Pilar Victoria Shares New Single, “I Left A Party For You”

    By Dom VigilNovember 13, 2020
Pilar Victoria I left a party for you

14-year-old Argentine-American songwriter Pilar Victoria has shared her brand new single ‘I Left A Party For You’. The new track arrives via Platoon with an official video and is taken from Pilar’s debut EP, expected early next year.

Pilar Victoria is far from your average 14-year-old. She started to write her own songs when she was 12 and taught herself to play the ukulele, guitar and the piano in between school and learning to skateboard. Last year, she self-released a handful of beautifully crafted songs, written in her bedroom in Houston, Texas and caught the world’s attention all by herself. Since then, she’s accumulated over 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone. This year, she’s dropped ‘Seaside Romantics’ and more recently ‘Space Song’, a track that’s garnered the attention of i-D, Refinery29, The Line of Best Fit and more.

‘I Left A Party For You’ finds her making her next move on the world. Emboldened by the overwhelming reaction to her music so far, the new track is the next glimpse of what is to come on her debut EP expected early next year. ‘I Left A Party For You’ showcases a new side of Pilar as she explores the darker corners of her song-writing and as intoxicating indie guitars swirl around her lullaby melody, all the while Pilar’s dreamlike vocal glide effortlessly over the top.
