French producer, composer, and songwriter Petit Biscuit recently stepped into the role of assured frontman on his long-awaited Parachute LP. As momentum continues to build around the project, he’s enlisted Belgian producer Jerro for a brilliant remix of the album’s standout single, “Drivin Thru The Night”. The track is given a wholly fresh perspective as it’s flipped into an atmospheric, club-ready cut with hypnotic percussive flair.
Petit Biscuit remarks, “Jerro’s remix reminds me of something that I’ve already known, and at the same time, something very new and fresh. A kinda Avicii touch that is transposed into a 2020 era. I love it! Hope you’ll love it too.”
As for Jerro, he adds, “Such an honour that Petit Biscuit and his team asked me to do a remix for his incredible album. I honestly felt a bit nervous approaching this remix at first, but once the foundation was in place, I had such a good time working on it. And I’m super stoked with how it turned out, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, Petit Biscuit has converted his classically trained talents into critical acclaim over the course of his career. With a debut album, Presence, that charted worldwide in 2017, he’s also wowed audiences on the live circuit with performances at the likes of Coachella, Lollapalooza, and HARD, plus his own sold out headline tour dates around the world. 2019 saw the release of single, “We Were Young”, topping 40 million collective streams with a music video featuring gorgeous cinematic shots that track nostalgic dreams of longing and love.
