ZHU shared NGHTMRE’s remix of his new single, “I Admit It” featuring 24kGoldn. An epic, incredibly nuanced track, it opens with an eerie, cinematic soundscape that builds to a frenzy, then walks a tightrope between swaggering power and delicate beauty. Listen HERE. NGHTMRE’s ascent to the upper echelons of dance music stardom has been fueled by collaborations with such artists as Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, Flux Pavilion, SLANDER, Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Ferg and The Chainsmokers. He remixed Ekali and ZHU’s 2018 single, “Blame,” and collaborated with ZHU on 2019’s “Man’s First Inhibition” ft. Kidd Keem.
“ZHU is one of my personal favorite artists and it’s always dope working with him. He has an amazing vision for what he wants and always makes it happen,” says NGHTMRE. “For this remix, I tried to give it even more energy than the original, and added a second drop that’s a bit more melodic. I hope everyone has as much fun listening to it as I did making it!”
Recently, ZHU and NGHTMRE went back-to-back for Digital Mirage’s Friendsgiving, which was produced by Proximity/Brownies & Lemonade. They performed on the U.S.S. Hornet, a historic U.S. aircraft carrier that is now berthed in the San Francisco Bay Area and serves as a museum.
