Indie/punk label Manic Kat Records has announced an interactive platform for live music. Punk Hub Live, will launch via the Manic Kat Records Official Website on Friday, April 17th at 8:00 PM ET with a live performance from South Dakota punks New Age Affair. Over the coming weeks, the platform will feature live stream performances from MKR artists and an array of exclusive content.
Punk Hub Live will offer a new, exciting and interactive way for bands to connect to their favorite MKR artists, with live music on the back burner for the forseeable future, due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The label will include direct donation links to New York hospitals, Westchester Medical Center and Mount Sinai, to raise funds to help them support their response to COVID-19.
In the coming weeks, the label plans to expand Punk Hub Live with long-form, intimate, live show environments where artists will give fans an inside look into the creation, stories and inside anecdotes that helped shape their favorite songs. The label will also be using the platform to connect directly with the music community by giving live tips, do’s and don’ts, and insights into running an independent record label in 2020.
The NY based label has grown an internationally based roster of artists over the last 5 years, working with a slew of the most exciting up-and-coming punk, indie and alternative artists. In their 5th & most successful year to date, Manic Kat Records has celebrated multiple Billboard Charts successes, including new records from The Anchor & Right On, Kid.
Tune into the official launch of Punk Hub Live via Manic Kat Records Official Website, with a high-octane performance from New Age Affair on Friday, April 17th at 8PM ET.
