Stacked Like Pancakes Return With “So Close Yet So Far”

Stacked Like Pancakes So Close Yet So Far

Stacked Like Pancakes is officially back. The ska-punk band has returned with their first new track in three years, “So Close Yet So Far.” The song was produced by Eric Taft (Less Than Jake, The Amity Affliction, Plain White T’s) at Buzzlounge Studios.

“I went back to my ska roots with this one, and I don’t know how else to explain it besides that it feels very right,” shares frontman Kellen McKay. “The further I got into writing ‘So Close Yet So Far,’ the more fun I had. I can’t wait to perform it live!”

Guitarist Steve Shriane continues: “To me this song screams “wanting to break out of a shell”. Recording the song was a great process.”

Bassist Nick Linder adds: “This is my favorite SLP song hands down. It was my honor to be on the recording.”
