Acclaimed artist, singer-songwriter, producer, composer, director, and DJ Planningtorock – aka Jam Rahouja Rostron – has shared a spellbinding remix of their song, “Her Heart Is My Home Now” from one of modern house’s most celebrated (and mysterious) names, The Magician.
“When The Magician reached out about remixing ‘Her Heart is my Home Now’ I was very touched,” Jam says. “It’s a really beautiful version and I feel that the song’s story and deep emotion really shines through in this remix.”
The Magician adds, “The chorus is quite delicate, but the message is very strong that I wanted to make something epic between an 80’s pop-rock song and an Italo disco track. Something to sing along to in a stadium! That disco bassline came up naturally to give a bumpy energy to it.”
“Her Heart Is My Home Now” is taken from Planningtorock’s Gay Dreams Do Come True EP, comprised of three celebratory, joyful, sweet house tracks with the aural mission to own their queer happiness, and to share that joy with anyone who wants to listen.
