Ali initially shared a teaser of the tune on TikTok. Right out of the gate, it took the platform by storm, generating over 86 million views and inspiring over 75,000 creates. Meeting audience demand, he delivers on the official version. As soft strains of piano ring out, his vocals tug at the heartstrings on the verses. The emotionally charged ballad builds towards a raw, relatable, and real refrain as he earnestly sings, “Baby, I know we’re not perfect. Don’t mean it’s not worth it. Don’t give up on us.”
It sets the stage for more music to come as well as his much-anticipated performance at Coachella 2022 in April.
