6x RIAA platinum certified Atlantic Records/Overall Recordings artist Garrett Nash has released his dreamy track “The Middle of Nowhere.” The track heralds his upcoming album, due later this year.
“I wonder what it’d be like to live a different life all the time,” Nash shared. “Just me & my family in a little house in The Middle of Nowhere. When I wrote this song with Gabe Simon I was sitting in his studio in Nashville looking out the window at a little abandoned garage in his backyard thinking “what if i just… moved in there? Would all my fears, anxieties, & problems go away? Probably not, but maybe I’d feel home again.”
The new track follows Nash’s nostalgic cover of his favorite childhood song, “Stacy’s Mom,” as well as a pair of irresistible singles – the self-reflective, “Super Glue,” and the touching ode to Nash’s upbringing in Los Angeles, “Palm Trees.” These recent tracks marked a new direction from the singer-songwriter formerly known as gnash. The name change reflects his remarkable growth as both an individual and artist over the past decade.

Furthermore, the “i hate u, i love u” companion video is an unadulterated blockbuster, now with over 650M individual views via YouTube alone.
