Platinum-certified singer, songwriter and powerhouse vocalist Valerie Broussard has released “Crash,” the first single off her forthcoming sophomore EP due out this summer.
“Crash”—fully written and produced by women: Valerie Broussard, Lena Leon and Hayley McLean (Texada)—follows Valerie’s hit single “Sideways” with ILLENIUM and Nurko as well as her debut EP Voyager(AWAL). The former debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Dance / Electronic Songs chart, has been streamed more than 20 million times and was featured on ILLENIUM’s GRAMMY-nominated album Fallen Embers. The latter garnered widespread tastemaker praise with EUPHORIA declaring, “Valerie Broussard knows how to captivate an audience with her powerful vocals and emotionally driven songwriting.”
Of the track, Valerie said, “‘Crash’ is about one of those relationships where you aren’t right for each other, but you can’t seem to stay away from each other either. This one is really personal for me so I’m so grateful that I got to work with such amazing women on this song.”
Boasting over 500 million streams to date, Valerie’s dynamic vocals and emotionally charged songwriting can also be heard in massive smash collaborations such as Kygo’s “Think About You” and “The Truth” as well as hundreds of film, television and video game placements including the 2019 League of Legends theme “Awaken” with Ray Chen and programming on NETFLIX, The CW, ABC, Prime Video, SyFy, HBO and more. She had over 50 TV and film syncs in the last year alone and continues to establish her signature brand on cinematic pop.
Stay tuned for more news from Valerie soon.
