After lighting up the internet and attracting tastemaker praise, 15-year-old phenomenon BabySantana has unleashed his new single, “nyc” via Galactic Records/Republic Records today. The track arrives alongside a music video, which can be seen now below.
The track’s frenetic, furious, and fiery production rages beneath his double-time rhymes as he practically runs suicides back and forth lyrically over the beat. The futuristic intensity culminates with a striking chant. In the accompanying visual, he takes over the streets of New York City, turning up in a convenience store as psychedelic animated filters fill the frame. Clocking in at just over a minute, “nyc” exerts a compact and catchy impact at full force.
Next up, BabySantana is set to support multiplatinum chart-topping rap phenomenon Lil Tecca on his Tecca Loves You Tour. It kicks off March 30, 2022 at Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes on May 21, 2022 at Ritz Ybor in Tampa, FL.
